Essentially a set of electronic flip cards, both versions of iKnowBirdSongs utilize a learning strategy traditionally used to help students master large sets of unfamiliar terms. It randomly selects a song from a list of birds you select, plays the song and gives you an opportunity to identify it BEFORE displaying the bird’s name. With the Lite version you can choose a particular region of interest and learn the songs of a representative sample of birds native to that region. Features include:1. Twenty nine species of North American birds are included. (FULL version has 371 species!).2. Many species have more than one song.3. You can easily compare and learn to distinguish birds with similar songs.4. Each species comes with an Information Page with images, range maps and essential information.5. Choose the region(s) of North America you are interested in. With the FULL version you can also chose the group(s) of birds and season(s) of interest.6.
